When you are an introvert you will be less interested in going out and meeting people. But, this does not mean you should stop networking with the people, instead, you should concentrate more on networking in a space where you feel more comfortable i.e. online.

Take some time out from your busy schedule, get connected with your LinkedIn contacts, build new connections, and contribute to various groups. If you don’t like networking in real life, then let it be the cyberspace.

Although you should make your best efforts to speak more often, your main strength lies in communicating your thoughts and beliefs in a written form. Make it a habit of using written communications as much as possible. You should always remember most of the communication is body language and tonality, which is missing from any document or email. So, make sure you have gone out of the way and portrait a positive attitude via your written communications.
Get Out of Your Comfort Zone
Although the previous point of not making any changes in your personality stays intact, it is important being reticent you move away from your comfort zone. That is a simple part of personal development. Try and speak out publicly, even if it makes you little uncomfortable. You should have the confidence to share what is on your mind, you might end up initiating a discussion that will help solve your business issues.
Build a Reputation On The Basis Of Positive Qualities
If you really want to avoid being overlooked in your business, as an introvert, make sure you have used your positive qualities to give a boost to your reputation. If you have a quality of solving the problem, then you use should this quality to solve various issues in the business.
As an introvert, if you are a good listener then you can hear out what your colleagues have to say or they may want to share their issues. Make sure you take initiative while communicating. The main rule of communication is act, don’t just react. It is important you are constantly communicating with the management, stake holders, and peers.
